Fees
$40.00 for one child
$75.00 for two children
$100.00 for three or more children
Tuition is waived if a parent is a volunteer catechist or full-time aide. Full or partial fee waivers are also available on a case-by-case basis for financial reasons.

Inclement Weather
If Prince George's County Schools are closed for the day, or dismiss early due to inclement weather, there will be no classes that afternoon/evening.
Registration/Enrollment
Registration information for new students will be printed in the Church bulletin during July/August/September. Returning students will be mailed packets in August. Families must be active, registered members of St. Pius X Parish. To register in the Parish, contact the Pastor.

Sacramental Preparation
Families with children entering the 2nd and 8th grades must provide evidence of readiness before the children can be enrolled in Sacramental Preparation classes. The most important aspect of this is attendance at Sunday Mass. Children enrolling in grades 2 and 8 must have successfully completed the previous year's religious education class.

First Reconciliation and First Communion
Students in the 2nd grade are prepared to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. This preparation is done as a partnership between parents and teachers. In addition to the textbook used in class, parents will be given workbooks on each of the sacraments to be completed at home. A letter will be sent home in September notifying parents of important information and dates. There will be a mandatory Parent Meeting and Activity Day for both sacraments.

Confirmation
Confirmation preparation is a two-year program beginning in the 7th grade. Students will be required to participate in service projects and attend a one day retreat as part of their preparation. A letter is sent home in September notifying parents and students of important information and dates. There will be mandatory meetings for parents and confirmands.
